Pontoon is seeking a meticulous Reconciliation Analyst for a 12-month contract in Manchester. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with four days in the office.

You will oversee reconciliation processes within the Middle Office, review junior work, and conduct in-depth transaction analysis to resolve complex inquiries. The ideal candidate holds a finance degree, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with experience in reconciliation and banking

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control of processing, work allocation, and workflow within the Middle Office and outsourced functions, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Review and approve work by junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex transactions and identify solutions for escalated inquiries.
• Maintain trade static data, trade enrichment, and market claims as a subject matter expert.
• Manage complex reconciliations including cash, asset, trade matching, and market value; resolve breaks and trade fails.
