Job summary

Zurich on the Isle of Man is seeking a detail‑driven Reconciliations Administrator to maintain accuracy of financial records. You will prepare balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and support strong controls across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous reconciliation experience in finance or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
• Ability to follow established processes, procedures and controls.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills to investigate discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations and wider business.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Experience in financial services, life and pensions or finance operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete allocated balance sheet reconciliations accurately and within deadlines.
• Review source data, supporting documentation and reconciliation evidence for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate, resolve and escalate reconciling items and discrepancies.
• Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Finance and Operations to resolve issues.
• Provide reconciliation evidence and explanations for internal and external audits.
• Support integrity of underlying accounting records by identifying discrepancies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to strengthen controls and automate processes.
