Reconciliations Analyst - London

A leading Alternative Investment Manager is seeking a Reconciliations Analyst to join their team in London. The team is responsible for reconciling Cash, Transactions, and Positions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reconciling cash, positions, and transactions by comparing internal records with external parties, including custodians, clearing agents, and prime brokers, within defined deadlines.
2. Identifying and overseeing system improvements, partnering with external vendors to understand trade flow requirements, bank ledger entries, and cash settlement schedules.
3. Supporting issue resolution by assisting Investment Teams and Finance with position-related discrepancies and conducting root cause analysis.
4. Working cross-functionally to facilitate the entire client lifecycle, starting with fund onboarding.
5. Monitoring daily operations proactively to identify patterns or recurring issues, especially with breaks.
6. Owning responsibilities fully, including staying informed about system upgrades, enhancements, and regulatory risks.
7. Contributing to various projects, both scheduled and ad-hoc, especially during platform transitions.

Requirements:

• Experience performing cash and stock reconciliations within an Investment business.
• Experience with Smartstream TLM, Intellimatch, or Broadridge is highly desirable.
