Job summary

Expert Employment is seeking a Battery Cell and Pack Assembler to assemble and test rechargeable battery cells and packs, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality. The role involves reading assembly drawings, identifying components and using appropriate tools.

Candidates should have experience with thin film, coating and winding technologies, soldering skills and familiarity with safety training requirements, including crane and forklift operations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures.
• Identify components and use pertinent tools and work techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools.
• Operate machines to manufacture battery cells.
• Assemble cells into a completed pack.
• Complete required safety trainings including crane, forklift, drugs and alcohol.

Requirements

Thin film, coating, and winding technologies exposure.

Soldering skills, solder and flux theory and practical experience of tinning, splicing, jenkin spring, turret soldering, crimping, etc. Tools, solder types and fixtures

Responsibilities

Machines operation to manufacture battery cells.
