Job summary

VerifyUs in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the production of advanced rechargeable battery cells and battery packs. This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

You will interpret drawings and procedures, identify components, assemble cells into packs, and contribute to 5S/lean initiatives while accurately recording labour data.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Ability to handle delicate materials such as thin films and coatings.
• Basic to intermediate soldering skills (tin, splice, turret, crimp).
• High school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and instructions; provide feedback as needed.
• Identify components and use tools safely and accurately.
• Assemble battery cells into completed battery packs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product/assembly issues.
• Record labour and production data in internal systems.
• Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.

This role involves hands‑on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment, contributing to high‑quality product delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and technical instructions (written and verbal), providing feedback where required
• Identify components and use appropriate tools, equipment, and assembly techniques safely and accurately
• Assemble battery cells into completed battery packs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to products and assemblies
• Accurately record labour and production data within internal systems
• Participate in 5S activities and support lean manufacturing initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Ability to handle delicate materials ( thin films, coatings, winding processes) is advantageous
• Basic to intermediate soldering skills, including Tinning, Splicing , Turret soldering , Crimping
• High school education (or equivalent)
