Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Receptionist for Oswestry Leisure Centre on a part-time basis. You will warmly welcome customers, provide information about facilities and services, and deliver high-quality service at the front desk, in person or by phone.

The role involves supporting day-to-day reception operations, handling cash, promoting activities, and following health and safety procedures. It is offered as a permanent part-time position with 10 or 12 hours per week, on a two-week rota with

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer care in a customer-facing environment or over the telephone.
• Confident handling cash and maintaining accurate records.
• Calm, professional and approachable, even when working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide accurate information about the facility, programmes and services available.
• Deliver excellent customer service through both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Assist with day-to-day reception operations, including supporting reception activities in the absence of the Head Receptionist.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and follow all company financial procedures and cashing-up processes.
• Promote additional services and activities where appropriate, helping customers make the most of the facility's offerings.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies, maintaining high standards at all times.
