NHS Professionals invites applications for a Receptionist at Wycombe Hospital in Buckinghamshire. The role supports patient administration, answering calls, and scheduling Endoscopy appointments within a busy NHS setting.

You will work 37.5 hours Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend cover, starting ASAP for a 3‑month period. Expected to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and adapting to changing service needs.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone professionally and take accurate messages.
• Be available to cover a 7-day working pattern across sites.
• Schedule Endoscopy appointments on the Endoscopy Reporting System.
• Register new patients on the computer database and check prior attendance.
• Provide general non-clinical information to patients and staff.
• Provide cross-cover for other receptionists and support service.
