Job summary

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) is recruiting a pooled receptionist for Care Group D. This permanent role requires flexibility to cover 7 days a week and shifts within a 24-hour period across wards and outpatient reception areas.

You will provide a high-quality reception and support service, liaising with patients, relatives and a wide range of staff, to ensure smooth patient flow and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Good general literacy and numeracy.
• Previous clerical work including data input.
• Experience in NHS or customer service organisation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality reception and support service across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Communicate well with patients, relatives and staff including multi-professional teams.
• Support technical staff with a versatile approach to multiple tasks.
