Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a friendly receptionist for the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing reception, information and guidance to patients, colleagues and visitors on site.

You will support nursing staff, help maintain electronic patient records (MAXIMS, EPRO) and contribute to delivering outstanding care in line with Trust values. This role requires effective communication, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, effective reception, advice and information to patients, colleagues and visitors to the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Support and assist the nursing staff and contribute to the care.
• Maintain electronic patient records, including MAXIMS, EPRO, the ward shared drive and data entry onto the ward database.
• Embed and promote Trust values, working towards providing outstanding care.
