About the Role

Winstree Medical Practice have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy, friendly team based in Colchester. Here you will provide assistance to doctors and practice staff and to support the practice team in their efforts to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where patients will feel comfortable. You will be working over two sites so must be a car owner.

This position is offered on a part-time basis for 27 hours per week working over 3 days. Hours are 8.00am - 6:30pm with a 90 minute unpaid lunch break.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Booking appointments
• Answering the telephone
• Dealing with patient queries both face to face and over the telephone
• Managing emails, scanning and much more

About the Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication and people skills, a positive attitude, good team work.

You will also have the following:

• Experience working within a GP practice nowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
• The applicant must be flexible and able to cover at short notice

About Us

Winstree Medical Practice have two sites, Winstree Road in Stanway and Malting Green Road, in Layer De La Haye. We are a semi-rural surgery with a patient list of 8900 and growing. We are part of a well lead PCN which provides us with a varied team of clinicians to work within our surgery.
