Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a front desk receptionist and administrative assistant. This role is ideal for a college student majoring in accounting or finance who wants to gain real-world experience. We have excellent clients, so the ideal candidate must be friendly and enjoy working with people. The receptionist must maintain confidentiality and refrain from gossip or sharing sensitive information.

Job Duties:

  1. Greet customers and provide friendly, accurate customer service.
  2. Gather information dropped off or sent electronically for accountants to complete tax returns or accounting tasks.
  3. Ask detailed questions to schedule appointments correctly.
  4. Assist customers with the pickup of tax returns and documents.
  5. Perform data entry tasks accurately.
  6. Assist the company president and accountants with copying and other administrative tasks.
  7. Maintain confidentiality of all information.
  8. File documents accurately.
  9. Perform light office cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Very detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and tone.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Flexible regarding schedule, responsibilities, and priorities.
