Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Ofsted-rated 'Good' Secondary School in Tamworth for an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join the school office team as soon as possible.

This is a busy, professional school environment where you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff, handling reception duties, calls, emails and day-to-day administration to keep the school running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have previous experience working within a UK school setting.
  • Applications without UK school-based administration or reception experience will not be considered.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience working within a UK secondary school
  • Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or other school management systems
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Experience managing attendance records and pupil data

Receptionist / Administrator Required - Secondary School

Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Ofsted-rated 'Good' Secondary School in Tamworth for an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join the school office team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and professional school environment, supporting both staff and students. The role is initially expected to last 4 to 6 weeks, however there is strong potential for the position to be extended and become long term for the right candidate.

The school is known for its positive culture, supportive leadership team and commitment to providing an excellent learning environment for both students and staff.

The Role

As the Receptionist / Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff and students, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school's reception and administration functions.

Key responsibilities will include:

Essential Criteria
