An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Woodview Medical Practice.
The successful candidate should have experience in a similar role or be motivated and keen to learn, together with excellent communication skills.
Training will be offered.
Experience working within Primary Care and SystmOne would be an advantage.
The post is for maternity cover initially at 17 hours, with a view to a reduced number of permanent hours.
Maternity shift pattern includes;
Monday 8.30am - 12.30pm
Thursday 2pm - 6pm
Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
Duties include dealing with patients by telephone and face to face projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors to the practice.
The job includes significant amount of multi-tasking with the ability to be compassionate and empathetic.
The successful candidate will be flexible and reliable with the ability to work under pressure to compliment our experienced and dedicated team.
We are a dispensing practice of 2,600 patients with sites at both Cockfield and Staindrop. We are a small team working in a positive rural practice with a good work ethic and patient centred approach.
Job summary:
Receive,assist and care navigate patients in accessing the appropriate service orhealthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Providegeneral assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendlyimage to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
