PortmanDentex in York is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our welcoming reception team at Acomb. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and regular shifts, including Monday to Thursday mornings and Friday mornings, with on-site parking.

You will bring front-of-house reception experience, a positive attitude, empathy, and strong communication to deliver excellent patient service and build strong relationships with colleagues and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Front of house reception experience (dental/healthcare preferred)
• Positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
• Strong communication and relationship-building with patients and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at reception and manage front desk duties

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Receptionist vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this isn’t a must-have)
• A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
• Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building strong relationships with both colleagues and patients
