Job summary

York - Acomb Dental & Implant Clinic in York is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our welcoming front desk team. You will greet patients, manage appointments, and handle day-to-day front-of-house tasks in a fully private dental clinic with four surgeries.

Typical shifts are Monday to Thursday, 07:45-17:15 and Friday 07:45-13:15, with a competitive hourly rate of 12.71 GBP. We value a positive, organized approach and strong communication to support colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, although this isn’t a must-have)
• A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
• Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building strong relationships with colleagues and patients

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients at reception and managing front-of-house duties
• Answering calls, scheduling appointments and coordinating with clinical team
• Providing excellent service to patients and supporting smooth clinic operations
