Job summary

Spire Bristol Hospital is recruiting an experienced Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, directing them and assisting with registrations and tablet check-ins. You will support clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure a welcoming, efficient reception environment and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires flexibility across 4 shifts per week, with early mornings and late evenings. Prior customer service experience and proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook are essential,

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver an excellent patient experience and support the smooth running of reception services.

Receptionist | Customer Service, Administration | Private Hospital | Permanent Part-time 30hrs | Bristol | role to start January 2026

Spire Bristol Hospital are currently looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist to join the team. You will be a first point of contact at the hospital for patients, so will politely and courteously, register and direct patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, in a proactive, warm, professional and caring manner.

Working hours and days

Pls note that for this role the ideal candidate will need to be able to provide full flexibility.

Weekend work is very rare currently, but sometimes this might be required to fit the needs of the business.

The successful candidate would be working 4 x 7.5 hour shifts each week - generally Monday-Friday. 6.30am earliest start and 8pm latest finishes.

Day off will usually be Weds, but this can change due to the needs of the business

Duties and Responsibilities
