Job summary

Together Dental Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You’ll welcome callers and visitors, manage appointments and maintain clinicians’ diaries, and respond to enquiries with a calm, professional manner.

You’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the reception area, process payments, handle records in line with GDPR, and collaborate with clinicians and the Practice Manager to deliver an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused front line experience preferred.
• Experience in reception/administration or healthcare is desirable.
• Comfortable with computer systems and learning new software.
• Reliable, professional and a good team player.

Salary: £12.80 - £13.50

Hours: (40 hours) Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our welcoming dental practice.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Working closely with our clinicians, nursing team, and Practice Manager, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while providing outstanding support to our patients.

The Role

As a Receptionist, You Will

Previous experience in a reception, administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, or healthcare role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Experience within a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage but not required.
