Job description

Job Title: Corporate Receptionist with Facility Management Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to take on additional facility management responsibilities. You should be highly organized, confident in managing contractors, and capable of providing administrative support to the off-site Building Manager. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, experienced, and proactive in handling a busy and varied role.

The role is based at a modern office building located near the A404(M), J8/9 of the M4 motorway, and Maidenhead town centre.

Salary: £24,000

Hours: 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reception
  • Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure it reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations.
  • Meet, greet, and register all visitors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage deliveries, including couriers and post efficiently.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.
  • Building Management
    • Establish yourself as the main point of contact for the building and its visitors.
    • Work closely with the off-site Building Manager, reporting issues and assisting in resolutions.
    • Manage contractors, including issuing keys and updating maintenance logs.
    • Coordinate with security and contractors to maintain standards and procedures.
    • Produce weekly activity reports.
    • Research and create a monthly e-newsletter to update tenants and encourage participation, ensuring content aligns with branding.
    Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
    • Proven experience in a front-of-house reception role.
    • Facilities management experience (desirable).
    • Personable, proactive, with a confident manner and excellent customer service skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to multitask effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and active listening skills.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office, apps, and social media; willing to learn in-house systems.
