Job summary

Huntress is looking for a professional and personable Receptionist to join a prestigious automotive centre in Hatfield, delivering a warm welcome to every customer who walks through the door. The role is fully onsite, with hours 8am to 6pm, and requires weekend availability.

You will manage front-desk duties, maintain the lounge, assist with refreshments and keep the reception area immaculate while providing excellent hospitality and customer service to a discerning clientele.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception, hospitality or high-end customer-facing service.
• Fluent English with clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Immaculate presentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Meet and warmly welcome customers and visitors
• Provide a consistently high standard of customer service and hospitality
• Offer refreshments and ensure guests are comfortable throughout their visit
• Maintain the presentation of the customer lounge and refreshment areas
• Keep the coffee station fully stocked and presentable
• Load and unload the dishwasher and keep kitchen areas clean and tidy
• Ensure customer-facing areas are consistently maintained to a high standard
• Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately
• Support the wider team with ad hoc reception and administrative duties
• Ensure every customer receives professional and welcoming experience

The role

About you

• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends (Saturdays)
• Professional, warm and naturally hospitable
• Experienced within hotel reception, hospitality or another high-end customer-facing environment
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
• Fluent / highly proficient in English
• Immaculately presented with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working to very high standards
• Naturally proactive and able to keep themselves occupied during quieter periods
• Confident answering the telephone and handling basic reception duties
• Reliable, professional and genuinely passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Hotel and luxury hospitality experience would be particularly well suited to this role.
