Job summary

Holiday Inn London - Gatwick Airport is seeking a friendly, energetic Receptionist to join our team. You’ll set the tone for guest stays with a warm welcome and provide information about hotel services, facilities and the local area.

Open 7 days a week with varied shifts, we offer training and opportunities for career development. No prior branded-hotel experience required; training will be provided and your hospitality charm will shine across our restaurant, bar and meeting spaces.

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming and energetic front desk presence.
• Experience in branded hotel environment preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set a warm tone at arrival.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local area.
• Act as the face of the hotel to guests using the restaurants, bars and meeting spaces.
• Support front desk operations with a flexible, guest-first approach.

We are looking for a friendly, passionate and energetic Receptionist to join our team.

First impressions are everything and you willset the tone for every guest’s stay.With a genuinely warm welcome, you’ll be ready with answers to any questions and be ableto offer information about hotel services, facilities and the local area. Anything to help make the guests visit that bit more special.

You will be the face of our hotel, not just to guests staying on property but to guest visiting to use our restaurants, bars and meeting rooms.
You must have a natural hospitality charm and a passion for service.

Ideally you will have experience of working within a branded hotel environment but this doesn't essential and full training will be provided.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
