Job summary

Cambridge House by Auberge Collection in London seeks a warm, discreet Receptionist to set the tone for every guest experience. You will welcome guests, manage arrivals and inquiries, and deliver personalized service with a calm, personable approach.

You will work closely with Concierge and Housekeeping to ensure a seamless journey, maintain accurate guest profiles, and share local recommendations that enhance stays in Mayfair. Right to work in the UK is required.

Respond to requests and resolve concerns with grace, initiative and a genuine desire to find the right solution.

Coordinate closely with Concierge, Housekeeping and the wider Cambridge House team to ensure a seamless and thoughtfully connected guest journey.

Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservations and billing records, handling payments and confidential information with care and integrity.

Share your knowledge of Cambridge House and the surrounding Mayfair area, offering considered recommendations that help guests discover the very best of what is on offer.

Maintain an impeccable reception area, ensuring every detail reflects the character, atmosphere and standards of the House.

Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to our opening preparations, helping shape the service rituals and traditions that will define the Cambridge House experience.

Qualifications

Experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within luxury hospitality or a similarly high-end environment.

A genuine passion for hospitality and an instinct for making people feel welcome, valued and at ease.

Excellent communication skills, a polished yet approachable manner and a keen eye for detail.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with excellent spoken and written English, additional languages are an advantage.
