Job summary

Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Cumbernauld near Glasgow is seeking a customer-focused front desk team member to greet guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, handle payments and complete general administrative duties.

You will be the first impression for guests, resolving enquiries with a friendly, professional approach while aiming to maintain high levels of satisfaction throughout their stay. Prior experience in hospitality is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience in conflict resolution is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and assist with check-in/check-out and general administrative duties.
• Take payments and manage routine transactions at the front desk.
• Address guest enquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay and maintain high service standards.

What will I do?

You will be the first impression a guest will have upon arriving at the hotel, you’ll greet guests, assign rooms, take payments and general administrative duties. Ensure all guest enquires/complaints are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
