Job summary

THE PIG Hotel in Brockenhurst is seeking a receptionist who puts guests first, with a friendly, professional approach and high service standards.

You will handle front desk duties, answer calls and emails, and coordinate with hotel teams. Full training provided; 35 hours per week, £12.71 per hour plus tronck and OTE details as per tin.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar front-of-house role.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist hotel guests at reception.
• Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure smooth service.

Location: The PIG Hotel, Brockenhurst, SO43 7QL

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £14.16 per hour including tronc).

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days.

We are currently looking for a customer focused Receptionist to join our front of house team.

The front desk at THE PIG is essentially the hub of the hotel, being the first and last face our restaurant and hotel guests see. First impressions are everything and we want our guests to have the best first impression possible.

As Receptionist you will be a first point of contact for our hotel guests. We are looking for someone who loves to make guests smile every day and has high standards of service and great attention to detail.

Communication is key, as you will be required to answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and maintain constant channels of communication with all departments in the hotel.

Experience within a similar role and knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
