Job summary

Key Stage Teacher Supply is seeking a proactive and supportive Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley supporting pupils across EYFS.

This is a full time, ongoing position, working closely with the class teacher to support pupils in Reception. The successful candidate will assist lesson delivery, encourage pupil engagement and help maintain an inclusive learning environment within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children (school-based required).
  • Experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting (EYFS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, proactive and supportive approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.

Primary Teaching Assistant role requirements:
