Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting Reception Teaching Assistants for temporary, ongoing supply work across primary schools in Worksop and the surrounding areas.

This Reception Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting young children as they begin their school journey. A CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification, is essential for this role due to early years staffing requirements.

About the Role

As a Reception Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will support children within the Reception classroom, helping them develop early learning skills, confidence and independence.

The Reception Teaching Assistant may provide whole-class support, work with small groups or offer individual support depending on the needs of the pupils and school. You will help deliver engaging activities through play and support children's early literacy, numeracy and communication.
