Job summary

Academics is seeking a Reception Teacher to provide flexible, ongoing supply cover across primary schools in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You will deliver engaging EYFS lessons, support early literacy and numeracy, and help children develop confidence and independence as they transition to Year 1.

The role is temporary and flexible, with responsibilities including observing progress, supporting behaviour, and working closely with school staff to ensure a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• QTS and EYFS/Reception experience required.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Reception Teacher - Worksop

Are you an enthusiastic Reception Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across primary schools in Worksop?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting Reception Teachers for temporary, ongoing supply work across primary schools in Worksop and the surrounding areas.

This Reception Teacher opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting children through the early stages of their school journey. You will help pupils develop early literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills while creating a positive and engaging Reception classroom.

Position: Reception Teacher

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a Reception Teacher in Worksop, you will deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

The Reception Teacher role may involve day-to-day supply, short-term cover or longer-term placements depending on school requirements. You will support children as they develop confidence, independence and the skills needed for their transition into Year 1.
