• Recent and relevant experience teaching within Early Years/Reception
• Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
• Phonics delivery experience (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters & Sounds)
• Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
• Creative, flexible, and proactive team player

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver creative, play-based learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Track, assess and monitor pupil progress using EYFS frameworks
• Differentiate provision to meet varied abilities and developmental needs
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider Early Years team and school life
