Job summary

Dulverton is seeking a dedicated teacher for a one-year maternity cover in the Reception class. We welcome applicants returning to teaching or transitioning from another sector.

EYFS knowledge and a commitment to play-based learning will help every child begin their learning journey with confidence. We offer a collaborative environment with a listening and coaching culture, staff wellbeing at the forefront, and the flexibility to complete planning and preparation time (PPA) at home.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to teach in England.
• Experience delivering Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is essential.
• Commitment to play-based learning and creating a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Reception-age lessons and activities.
• Support and monitor children’s learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Collaborate with the school team to plan, assess, and reflect on practice.
