St. Mary’s CE Primary School in Stockport is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our caring educational family. The role is 0.4 FTE, Thursday and Friday, temporary until 31st August 2027, with start date 4th January 2027.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, compassionate and visionary Reception Teacher for EYFS.
• Strong commitment to early reading and phonics foundations.

• Pedagogical and EYFS excellence: model high‑impact early years practice and provide a stimulating environment.
• Embed Christian ethos in classroom culture and school life.
• Recognise and support progress to meet each child’s potential.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and staff to support learning and community events.
