Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience in EYFS or Reception.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Experience setting up engaging classroom provision and learning environments.

• Creative and proactive approach to learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning and resources.
• Create a stimulating and well-organised Reception learning environment.
• Set up weekly classroom activities and provision areas based on the planning provided.
• Organise, maintain, and refresh continuous provision areas.
• Pack away and reorganise resources from previous weekly activities.
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment processes.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing, and achievement.
