Job description

Location: FY3 Area Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Maternity Cover, Full-Time

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the FY3 area. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team, covering maternity leave from September 2025.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and tailored support where necessary.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s learning and development.

  • Maintain a safe, happy, and inclusive classroom setting.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A passion for Early Years education and child development.

  • Strong classroom management skills with a positive and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.
