Meliá Hotels International, Innside Manchester, is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the daily shift on Reception, ensuring the team delivers courteous, attentive service and maintains the highest standards of guest care.

You will support Reception Management in implementing new procedures, coordinating training and development, and coordinating VIP arrivals to guarantee smooth handovers with other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-desk or hospitality roles.
• Ability to supervise staff on duty and maintain standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in guest-facing situations.
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and handovers.
• Ensure guests are greeted with courtesy and complaints resolved promptly under guidance.
• Adhere to hotel procedures at all times.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Coordinate VIPs and groups arrivals.
• Undertake Duty Management shifts.
• Support development of team members.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure procedures followed.
