Job summary

Virgin Hotels Edinburgh is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Manager to join our vibrant team. You will be a key member of the restaurant reception team, delivering a warm, memorable welcome from the moment guests arrive and embodying our passion for exceptional hospitality.

Excellent knowledge of the Reservations system, confident and warm communication with guests and colleagues, and experience leading and developing a front-office team are required.

• Current right to work in the UK

• Manage reservations, address guest inquiries, and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Exceed guests' expectations at all times
• Maintain the highest standards and deliver exceptional guest service
• Collate and use guest data to enhance future visits
• Lead and train the reception team
• Hire, train and motivate a team

We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Manager to join our vibrant team. As a key member of the restaurant reception team, you will embody our passion for exceptional hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, memorable welcome from the moment they arrive.

What exactly you will be doing...

• Excellent knowledge of the Reservations system


• Have confident and warm communication with team and guests


• Manage reservations, address guest inquiries, and resolve any issues with professionalism and care, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for guests and the team


• Exceeding guests' expectations at all time


• Consistently maintain the highest standards and deliver exceptional guest service


• Collate and use guest data appropriately, recognising important aspects of a guests experience to enhance future visits


• Positively lead our reception teams and support them through regular training


• Experience hiring, training and motivating a team

Background must-have:

• Previous hospitality experience


• Current right to work in the UK
