Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher for a maternity cover position at a primary school in Druids Heath, Birmingham. This role will start after the October half-term break in 2026 and last until July 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a blended Nursery and Reception class, helping children with significant learning and developmental needs. The school offers a supportive community along with ongoing guidance from experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Confidence in adapting provision for children with varying developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach a blended Nursery and Reception class.
• Support pupils with high levels of learning and developmental needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning experiences.

Skills
