Job summary

Disguise is seeking a mid-level software engineer in London to join a small, highly focused engineering team building live production software. You will work on demanding end users where failures are visible to an audience of thousands.

Our products design, sequence and control live productions across film, TV, broadcast, and live events. The code you write runs in front of an audience, often with no second take.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional C++ development
• Experience releasing at least one commercial software product
• Experience collaborating in a small, focused team

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of projects including customer projects and large features.
• Build and specify new features with Product to shape them.
• Improve, support and maintain existing product areas.
• Write testable, maintainable code and unit tests.
• Debug methodically using tools and logging to root cause.
• Review peers' work and explain corrections.
• Collaborate with Support to understand codebase issues.
• Share knowledge with the wider team
