Job summary

Disguise, a leading provider of real-time visual experiences, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated testing frameworks and Python scripts. You will collaborate with QA and development teams to expand test coverage, integrate tests into CI/CD, and help ensure product quality across platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, rigorous documentation, and continuous improvement of testing practices in a hybrid London-area setup.

Qualifications

• Strong Python proficiency and experience maintaining large Python projects.
• Solid understanding of QA processes and automated testing.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Jira and TestRail; CS or related degree (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and Python scripts.
• Identify automation opportunities and build reusable test suites with the QA Engineering team.
• Write test scripts to validate features, products, and bug fixes across platforms and environments.
• Expand and maintain tools for continuous testing and reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI pipeline to support build stability and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the automation environment.
• Conduct manual testing for complex or new features.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation.
• Review code and collaborate with developers to integrate test coverage early in development.
• Monitor and report test results, issues, and risks to development and product teams.
• Support the QA team with testing best practices, tools, and Python development.
