Job summary

XTX Markets in London is seeking a Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer to own the mission control panel for one of the world's largest trading systems. You will work with Trading Desk, Quants and Risk to provide clear visibility into hundreds of thousands of strategies and to support trading control mechanisms.

This role is highly collaborative and people‑oriented, demanding reliable, low-latency software that runs 24/7 and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience coding in a professional environment with Java or C++.
• Willing to learn Kotlin.
• Pragmatic with strong ability to communicate with technical stakeholders.
• Familiar with distributed systems and reliability.
• Experience with automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain software, including: an Ingestion mechanism for large volumes of data from trading systems.
• Internal frameworks for data processing and presentation.
• In-memory query engines.
