Job summary

XTX Markets Limited is seeking a Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer in London. You will build the mission control panel for one of the world's largest trading systems, supporting hundreds of thousands of strategies, with users across Trading Desk, Quants, and Risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional coding experience in Java or C++.
• Willing to learn Kotlin.
• Skilled in writing automated tests.
• Familiar with distributed systems – reason about consistency and delays.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal users about needs and ideas.
• Understand trading workflows and requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain software for ingestion, data processing and in‑memory queries.
• Present data clearly with frontend collaborators.
• Maintain trading metrics calculations and ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Contribute to the shared software platform for the team.
• Collaborate with front office customers to tailor solutions.
