Job summary

Arm Cambridge is seeking an experienced architect to lead the definition and demonstration of Quality of Service capabilities across our IP portfolio and systems. You will chart the strategic QoS direction for real-time predictability, power management and performance, working with solution architects to translate requirements into system architecture and demonstrable implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience with hard real-time devices and QoS concepts.
• Ability to build consensus across multiple teams on technical topics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of QoS theory and evaluation of approaches.
• Experience in RTL design and its impact on area, speed and power.

Responsibilities

• Specify QoS requirements across IP portfolio to meet system-level targets.
• Distill QoS needs and define QoS aspects of system architecture.
• Collaborate with AMBA/Arm architects to enable QoS capabilities.
• Lead methodologies to demonstrate QoS architecture meets requirements in theory and in practice.
