Job summary

Flexjet Europe is seeking a highly organised Flight Dispatcher / Operations Controller to join the Operations Control team in the UK. This pivotal role coordinates and oversees daily flight operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service at every stage.

You will plan, coordinate, and monitor flight operations across the network, collaborating with departments to anticipate needs, resolve challenges, and maintain the highest standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Understanding of flight planning and worldwide aviation operations.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily flight operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Prepare and validate operational flight plans, crew briefings, routing, fuel requirements, and airfield performance considerations.
• Monitor flights in real-time, proactively managing changes, delays, and operational challenges.
• Liaise with flight crews, maintenance, scheduling, and ground handling teams to ensure seamless execution of flights.
• Manage operational requirements including slots, permits, handling arrangements, and regulatory documentation.
• Respond to disruptions and emergencies, supporting the activation of ERP, flight watch, and contingency procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and operational documentation in line with compliance requirements.
• Deliver clear, timely communication to internal stakeholders and Owner Services regarding flight status and updates.
