Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds is seeking associates for the Transactional Real Estate team to deliver asset management and investment work for a major client within a structured delivery model. The role can be office based or primarily home-based with travel to Leeds office twice monthly.

You will manage leases, property documents and due diligence, supervise junior lawyers, and build strong client relationships while benefiting from the firm's training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' PQE advising on transactional real estate matters in England and Wales.
• Experience working for institutional landlords preferred.
• Strong client service with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated legal resource for a key client within a structured delivery model.
• Manage your own caseload including drafting/negotiating leases, ancillary property documents, tenant due diligence, and lease management applications.
• Oversee transaction completion, maintain matter status updates, and manage WIP, billing and write-offs.
• Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals to deliver lettings and property management matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in client engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the client account team to drive process improvements and support wider real estate transactions.
