Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds is seeking an Associate for our Housing and Transition Finance Group. You will contribute to high-value real estate transactions, handling due diligence, title work, and security documentation across funders and borrowers.

The role offers exposure to a market-leading team with a strong reputation in social housing, plus opportunities to engage with policy and regulatory developments affecting housing finance.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out real estate due diligence on large property portfolios, including certificates of title and title documentation review
• Assisting on complex multi funder and multi tranche transactions (£1bn+)
• Drafting and negotiating security and related transaction documents
• Reviewing and reporting on real estate documentation such as leases and development agreements
• Managing the real estate workstream on transactions and coordinating due diligence and trackers
• Liaising with borrowers' solicitors, clients and advisers to progress and close transactions efficiently
• Joining a vibrant team and supporting policy/regulatory engagement in housing and transition finance
