Placements24 is partnering with a Randburg-based commercial law firm to appoint a Real Estate Transactional Lawyer with 6+ years' experience. The role focuses on significant property transactions, advising developers, investors, and corporate clients through acquisitions, disposals, developments, and financing.

You will draft, negotiate, and review sale, option, and JV agreements, conduct due diligence, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with at least 6 years of dedicated experience in commercial real estate law.
• Experience in transactional property matters, including due diligence and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of property finance, development, and sectional title legislation.
• Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage all legal aspects of commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sale agreements, option agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on target properties and entities.
