Fieldfisher Birmingham invites a 1-2 PQE Solicitor to join our established Real Estate team, advising on a broad range of transactional matters with a focus on commercial and residential development work.

You will work in a collaborative, market-facing environment, engaging with clients and colleagues while handling matters under supervision. The Birmingham team emphasizes a hybrid working model and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 1-2 years PQE in transactional real estate.
• Experience in commercial and residential development work.
• Ability to manage matters and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of English land law and landlord and tenant law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating transactional real estate documents.
• Strong drafting, organisational and time-management skills.
• Collaborative and commercially minded with ability to handle competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold real estate assets, including development sites and investment properties.
• Supporting commercial and residential development transactions, including site acquisitions/disposals and development documentation.
• Advising on landlord and tenant and asset management matters, including leases and rent reviews for corporate occupiers.
• Assisting on investment, portfolio and real estate finance transactions, including due diligence and title reporting.
• Taking responsibility for matters with client contact and coordination with advisers.
• Drafting and reviewing titles and related documents.
• Conducting legal research and contributing to know-how.
