Job description

Real Estate Senior Fund Accountant. OUR CLIENT is a successful, international real estate investment company that has been investing in a wide range of assets for over 40 years. They are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Real Estate Fund Accounting Team in the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Review management accounts prepared by third-party administrators for UK and European portfolios.
2. Prepare fund consolidation with UK GAAP adjustments.
3. Quarterly preparation of NAV and financial summaries.
4. Prepare annual financial accounts with IFRS adjustments.
5. Prepare quarterly cash flows for the fund management team.
6. Collaborate with tax advisors and review tax computations (UK VAT return and CIS returns).
7. Manage and monitor budgets.
8. Complete quarterly investor reports with performance metrics and detailed analysis.
9. Organize payment runs with external service providers.

Skills and Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3 years' experience in Real Estate fund accounting, property investment accounting, and fund consolidations.
• Proven knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working on both UK and pan-European funds.
• Strong team player and communicator with analytical skills.
