Qualifications

• Supervise and review work of junior Fund Accountant.

Job Title: Interim Senior Fund Accountant

Employment Type: Interim (Initially Nine Months with the Possibility to Extend)

Salary Range: £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client, an investment manager focused on the infrastructure sector, seeks an experienced qualified accountant for a nine-month interim position in their Funds Finance team, covering maternity leave. The role begins in May and may be extended.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end processes for various funds.
• Meet all external reporting deadlines.
• Review monthly performance reports, including performance attribution from Administrators.
• Coordinate quarterly reporting with Administrators.
• Ensure timely funding and cash settlement of acquisitions.
• Review and approve debt valuations monthly.
• Develop and maintain a strong control environment through process improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects.
• Supervise and review work of junior Fund Accountant.

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with relevant PQE.
• Experience in fund accounting, preferably within a fund administrator.
• Excellent communication skills, experience working with Administrators.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Attention to detail and interest in process improvements.
