Job summary

Gateley is seeking an experienced Post Completion Team Supervisor to lead our Real Estate post-completion team in Belfast. You will drive accuracy, efficiency and regulatory compliance across property transactions, while delivering exceptional client service and supporting growth.

You will manage registrations, SDLT, lender compliance and team performance, mentor staff, and work with partners and solicitors to ensure a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• Ideally some experience within property law or conveyancing.
• An organized and methodical approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the post-completion team, covering registrations, SDLT returns, lender compliance, and all related tasks after property transactions.
• Oversee case allocation, workloads, and performance to meet deadlines and service standards.
• Develop and maintain processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with SRA and Law Society of NI regulations, along with lender and client requirements.
• Act as the go-to person for complex post-completion queries and escalations.
• Collaborate with partners, solicitors and paralegals to deliver a seamless client experience in Real Estate.
• Provide training, mentoring and regular performance reviews to the team.
• Monitor KPIs and report on team performance, compliance and financial metrics.
