Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Responsibilities include landlord and tenant disputes, lease disputes, development disputes and related property claims, with increasing autonomy and a clear pathway toward partnership for the right candidate.
A standout opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Litigator to join one of the leading practices in the market, working directly alongside highly regarded partners at a Top 30 international firm with a genuine and proven commitment to developing and progressing its lawyers.
This Top 30 international firm has established a strong reputation across the UK and internationally, with Litigation forming one of the core strengths of the practice.
The firm is consistently recognised across the Legal 500 and Chambers for the quality of its work and the expertise of its lawyers.
What really sets the firm apart is its approach to developing people. A significant number of the partners across the business are home grown, having joined as trainees and progressed through the firm to partnership.
In an international practice of this size, that level of internal progression is increasingly rare and speaks volumes about the culture that exists here.
The long-term relationships within the teams are equally impressive. Partners who recruited trainees over a decade ago are still working alongside those same lawyers today and have subsequently supported them through their own partnership applications. This creates a genuine culture of investment in people rather than a focus on short-term performance.
At Senior Associate level, you will have direct access to partners and senior practitioners who take an active interest in your technical development and your progression. This is a firm where careers are genuinely built, not just managed.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Litigation Senior Associate to join the firm's highly regarded Manchester team and take on a meaningful role within a nationally recognised practice.
Real Estate Litigation is a core part of the firm's wider Disputes offering, with the national team acting for a sophisticated client base across a broad range of complex and high-value commercial property disputes. At this level you will be taking on real responsibility, running matters with increasing autonomy whilst working closely alongside leading partners on the most complex and high-profile instructions.
Work spans landlord and tenant disputes, lease disputes, development disputes, property related contractual claims, dilapidations, rights of way, restrictive covenants and a broad range of other contentious real estate matters. The team acts for major commercial landlords, occupiers, developers, investors and businesses, giving you exposure to clients and disputes that would typically be associated with much larger City practices.
