Job summary

Fidelity International is seeking an Associate Director Real Estate Fund Controller in London. You will lead financial control, reporting and governance for pan-European real estate investment funds, working with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisers to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

You will coordinate audits, oversee investor cash movements, and drive continuous improvement in controls and processes, collaborating with Investment Management, Legal and Investor Relations to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management experience in real estate.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Deep IFRS and Lux GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisers.
• Solid understanding of real estate investment lifecycle and fund structures.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication.
• Proactive with continuous improvement mindset and ownership.
• Experience leading small teams (advantageous).
• Ability to leverage AI and technology to improve reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and regulatory reporting across pan-European real estate funds.
• Review reports prepared by fund administrators and service providers (NAVs, management accounts, financial statements).
• Perform variance analysis and resolve accounting issues and control exceptions.
• Review IFRS and Lux GAAP financial statements for compliance.
• Oversee investor cash movements and lender reporting.
• Coordinate audits and reporting with external parties.
• Develop relationships with service providers and internal teams.
• Support process improvements and automation within the fund control model.
