Job summary

Ares Management Corporation is seeking a Fund Controller for its London-based Real Estate Group. The role reports to the Senior Fund Controller and works with teams across Europe, focusing on financial reporting, deal execution, and asset management.

We seek 4–7 years PQE with a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Strong MS Office and Power BI skills are required, with attention to detail and team collaboration essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong academics and professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in real estate private equity or fund accounting preferred.
• Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund service providers and ensure data flows meet service levels.
• Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and capital statements.
• Manage cash flow, distributions, and fees; support deal execution and fund modelling.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs; maintain fund dashboards.
• Oversee audits, tax reporting, and SPV/Propco accounting.
